Credentials

There are two kinds of credentials: (1) SEASON and (2) EVENT.  A Season credential is good for the entire racing season and requires submittal of a photo and notarized annual liability waiver and release.  An Event credential is only good for the event for which it was purchased and can be purchased either in advance or onsite at Rider Services.

In addition, there are two levels of credential access: (1) CREW and (2) GUEST.  A Crew credential is issued to approved mechanics and provides access to restricted areas, such as the Signal/Mechanics Area and Starting Line, and requires the holder to have an AMA membership current through September 15 of the race season.  A Guest credential does not require AMA membership.

Each rider is entitled to purchase a total of up to two (2) Crew and four (4) Guest credentials.

Everyone in your vehicle must have a credential to enter the paddock. The AMA Pro License serves as your official credential.  If others in your vehicle do not have a credential, you must go to Rider Services and purchase credentials for them.  Please do not try and park if you do not have a credential, as you will be turned away and sent to Rider Services.

Your credential is your responsibility and is non-transferable.  It must be worn at all times.  Any persons who counterfeit, forge or alter (with the intent to defraud the Promoter or MX Sports) are subject to removal/eviction from the venue and may also be subject to prosecution.  MX Sports reserves the right to revoke a credential at any time.

Persons entering a restricted area, such as the racetrack, without the proper credential may have their credential revoked or may be escorted off the property.

Event Information

Weekend Schedules and track maps will be posted at the MX Sports semi Friday. The track map will identify the Wheels on the Ground (WOG) locations, Signal/Mechanics Area and Industry Seating, among other important track elements.

Rider Status

Your pro license credential entitles you to access the Signal Area and the race track infield during timed qualifying sessions ONLY.  These areas are restricted during moto racing.

Industry Seating

This area is reserved for you and your crew to watch the racing action. As a courtesy from MX Sports, a live TV feed is provided along with drinks and a snack.

Signal/Mechanics Area

The entrance and exit lanes to the Signal Area are marked.  Please make note of these locations, as riders will only be able to enter/exit as designated.

Paddock Hours

The Paddock will be open from Friday 9 am to 10 pm.  After 10 pm, there will be no re-entry, and any vehicle leaving will be subject to search.

The Paddock will reopen Saturday 6 am to close of the event.

The Paddock will be accessible to fans on Saturday from 9 am to Noon.  Please plan accordingly and secure your personal belongings.  Although crowd control security is provided, riders/participants are ultimately responsible for the safe-keeping of their equipment and personal property.

Paddock Camping

Riders may camp in the Paddock Friday night.  However, it is their responsibility to secure their personal property and belongings, including motorcycle(s).  Please secure all items before retiring for the evening.

All motor coaches, campers and RV’s must vent the generator exhaust to the top of the unit and have a fully functioning fire extinguisher readily available in case of an emergency.

Waste Management

Please use the designated trash containers.  Do not place full large plastic trash bags in the barrels, as that will fill them up.  Place trash bags on the ground beside the barrels and staff will remove them.

Most venues have dumpsters located within the Paddock.  It would be most helpful if you would take your full trash bags to the dumpsters for disposal.

DO NOT dump grey water in the Paddock.  Violators will be subject to immediate eviction from the Paddock and/or the venue.

Alcohol

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the Paddock.

We hope you and your crew have a great weekend, and thanks for being part of the best motocross series in the world.
