Spring Creek Motocross National
Spring Creek MX Park - Millville, Minn. - July 16

  • Spring Creek has hosted AMA Motocross national events since 1983. It's boasts several of the most iconic obstacles in the sport, including the "Holy Schmit" jump named for late local legend Donny Schmit, and the sand whoops. The track also has the longest start straight on the schedule.
  • The city of Millville has a population of about 200. On Saturday, that population will grow by at least 50 times that number when thousands of die hard motocross fans pour into the city.
  • Hometown hero Ryan Dungey has won the last three years at Spring Creek - twice in the 250 Class and last year in his 450 Class debut at the facility.
  • Defending 250 Class Champion Trey Canard will make his 450 Class debut at Spring Creek, racing for the first time this summer since suffering an injury earlier in the year.
  • Chad Reed's 450 Class win at RedBud was the 10th of his career, putting him into a tie with Kevin Windham for 14th all-time.
  • With a third-place finish at RedBud, Ryan Villopoto has finished on the podium in seven of his eight career starts.
  • Chad Reed and Ryan Villopoto are the only two riders in either class to finish on the overall podium at each round. Each rider is averaging a podium finish this season, at 2.1 and 2.8, respectively.
  • 250 Class points leader Dean Wilson has finished second overall in four of six rounds this season. He has yet to win an overall.
  • Blake Baggett boasts a series-leading seven moto wins this season.
  • Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki has won every 250 Class moto and overall of the 2011 season.
  • Justin Barcia boasts the most holeshots in the series with six. He is the only rider in the 250 Class to have more than one holeshot.

450 Class Stats
