MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli, the Alliance of Action Sports, present the Rockstar Energy High Point Highlight Video from Saturday's Rockstar Energy High Point National. The third round of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship from High Point Raceway brought the world's best riders to the East Coast for the first time this summer, and a packed crowd filled the hillsides to watch the action unfold.
After capturing the overall victory at the first two rounds, TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing's Chad Reed looked to make it three-in-a-row to start the season. However, Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto put an end to that streak, riding to a dominant Moto 1 win and securing his first overall victory since 2009 with a runner-up finish in Moto 2.
In the 250 Class, it was more dominance from the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team. After winning the opening round of the season, Blake Baggett grabbed his second victory of 2011 by going 1-1 for the day, highlighted by a resilient and aggressive ride in the final moto.
