The 2011 Motorcycle-Superstore.com Women's Motocross Championship season kicks off on May 21 from the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Rancho Cordova, Calif. Reigning series champion Jessica Patterson and her DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing Yamaha team lead a list of talented females into the eight-race championship, including the likes of Ashley Fiolek, Tarah Gieger, Vicki Golden and Mariana Balbi.

"Over the last three years, the quality of racing and the depth of talent has increased to the point that the Motorcycle-Superstore.com Women's Motocross Championship has clearly emerged as now the world's premier series for female riders."
In addition to headlining the series, Motorcycle-Superstore.com will also award checks to recipients of the coveted Holeshot Award for each moto, adding one more element of competition to the intense landscape of women's motocross.
